Web Hosting – The Ordinary Marketing Way
Website SEO is so fundamental, that it is the lens through which I approach every part of your web hosting. So it’s going to come up a lot in the next bulleted list. That’s not a mistake.
Hosting your website has a lot of moving pieces. Here are all the features I pack into every client I host. This is what comes standard.
SSL Certificates on every website
Security certificates are now standard on more than just e-commerce sites. They are also a ranking factor for SEO and part of the lowest-layer security for any website accessed via Google Chrome.
Complete Usable Website Backups
Daily backups and free restores (why do other companies charge extra for this? That is deliberately taking advantage of people when they are in trouble!) If you blow up your website, or if some plugin or whatever messes things up, I’ll restore your site from a backup right away and you’ll be back to normal. Then we’ll work on preventing whatever broke your website in the first place.
WordPress Plug-in monitoring, management, and updates.
(You can have automatic updates, but do you always want that? We keep track of what is going on with the plugins on your site instead of just automatically updating them.)

Ridiculous Resources for your Website
Storage space, size, speed? Our hosting is built on Cloudways which also hosts websites for software companies, universities, music labels, small businesses, and major industries. I tell people you get 50GB of bandwidth a month, 10GB of local storage, blah blah blah. Those numbers are just legalese so I have a rock to stand on in the event that I have to upgrade the servers because you are getting so much web traffic. I build sites so efficiently that the server horsepower is overkill. If you get enough traffic, you’ll be making so much money that you’ll be happy to upgrade my servers. Don’t worry about it.
Premium Plugins with all Hosting Plans
There are a lot of premium plugins included with every hosting plan I provide. This doesn’t just make my life easier because you’re using the plugins I like, it means you have premium-level performance on your website.
- Gravity Forms – not just a free forms plugin, we can direct forms to different people in your company based on what is put in the form. We can put all kinds of logic and performance into your forms. This isn’t just a contact form, this is a way for you to get hot leads that are ready to buy.
- Relevanssi – As your website ages and becomes more robust with content, your visitors will appreciate an enhanced on-site search. Help your site visitors find what they are looking for with a great site-search. This also increases SEO performance because your bounce rate drops. Not only that, we’ll use the site search report to see what people are actually looking for on your site to guide our content marketing, which, yep, I’ll say it again, will improve your SEO.
- Brave pop-up plugin – You can put pop-ups on your site to drive subscriptions, leads, announcements, or whatever else you can dream of. Yes, pop-ups are the 2nd most annoying thing on the internet (Trolls on your Facebook are just the worst) but stats show that they work. You won’t have to shop for a pop-up plugin, I’ve already got one installed in your site.
- RankMath SEO – My SEO-focused web hosting wouldn’t be complete without some kind of SEO plugin, right? I like RankMath instead of Yoast because second place always works harder. This SEO plugin helps you monitor the SEO best practices on your site without causing unnecessary bloat. We don’t live by the RankMath SEO plugin, but it’s a helpful assistant that will work alongside every blog post you (or I) write.
Google Analytics and Search Console Site Monitoring and Reporting
Every site comes standard with Google Analytics and Google Search Console installed and configured. You wouldn’t hire a salesperson and then never ask how they are performing, why do that with your website? You’ll have constant access to see how your website is doing, what kind of traffic you’re getting, and even what people are doing when they visit your site. This, of course, will guide us to perfect your website and your SEO.
Don’t burden your IT department with web-hosting. It’s a completely different animal.
Google Ads and Other PPC
- Pay Per Click (PPC) ads are the fastest way to get traffic to your new website.
- In consultation with you, we’ll target the best keywords for your customers so you don’t waste your ad budget on bounces.
- Google Ads are the right way to go for most sites, but we can use Facebook, Instagram, or even Bing ads if that is where your target market is clicking.
